Get Involved

If you would like to get involved in protecting and managing your local stream, river, lake, coast or groundwater just contact this office for further information.  Contact details can be found on the Team section of this website.

Local waters are connected within geographical areas called catchments, it is this connection that requires us to adopt a broader view of the water environment. To find out more about your catchment visit This website provides a one stop location for maps & data on water quality and stories from across the country about what has worked for local communities.  Once there, you can also subscribe to the quarterly Catchments Newsletter to keep up to date.

If you have an idea for a project or initiative , no matter how big or small, and don’t know where to begin, we can provide support, technical information and funding.  All you need to do is contact your local Community Water Officer from the Team  section or email and we will get back to you right away.
